Matthew 6:33 Academy - Dramatic Faith Productions

At the Matthew 6:33 Academy, we create productions that visually express biblical truths accompanied by moving music and no spoken dialogue which adds dramatic effect and creates a unique experience. As an example, our The Building Blocks of Christ production based on Matthew 7:24-27 is visually presented by actually building the house on the sand of this world and then building the house on the Rock of Jesus before the audience.

We are a family ministry. Our focus is building up the body of Christ by inspiring and encouraging the audience to read the Bible through in one year with our complimentary schedule. Temptations of this world need to be counteracted with teaching and testimony based on the Word of God. The biblical principles that we portray and teach are those that have helped our family.

The mission statement of our ministry is found in Matthew 6:33, “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.” The purpose of the Matthew 6:33 Academy is to encourage and build up the body of Christ and teach God’s Word in a fun, new way.

DFP1 A Dramatic Faith Production, known as a “DFP,” is a short visual, dramatic production, based on the Bible. It incorporates large colorful props, dramatic music, no spoken dialogue, a multimedia presentation and the five Davis family members in action to create a moving experience.

The Davis family educates, visually portrays the Bible, and teaches how to apply biblical principles to everyday life. The unique teaching and testimony of the individual family members appeals to broad and diverse audiences. Matthew 6:33 presents in English, Spanish, and to the deaf.

The Biblical model they developed, God’s Excellent Model, serves as an excellent tool to help the Otis Davis family improve their relationships to the point that they want to share the basic principles with others through the DFPs.

DFP2 Families today face many challenges. The Davis family wants to help families and encourage them to build on the Rock of Christ. They were both awed and inspired by the overwhelmingly positive response of the people to their DFPs. This motivated and encouraged them to create new productions and enhance existing ones.

Matthew 6:33 Academy created and developed seven DFPs: The Building Blocks of Christ based on Matthew 7:24-27, Reap What You Sow from Galatians 5:17a, Seek God First based on Matthew 6:33, Power of Words from Luke 6:45b, God’s Greatest Gift based on Isaiah 9:6, Plug In from Romans 13:1, and The Heart Matters from Matthew 6:21.
